08/22/03: Tribal Update: Time with family and...moving along with the book of Acts

Hello Folks:

We just returned from the State of Wisconsin where we logged a wonderful three weeks catching up with our kids and grandkids. What a treat!! We have missed so much of their lives but what a delight to pop in on them and just hang out for a bit. It was a real blessing!

The book of Acts has been gone over and is all ready for the final consultant check which will be in February when our field translation consultant returns from her home assignment. In the mean time, we will be working on 2813 verses from the Old Testament as well as 82 Bible lessons which cover the teaching from Genesis 1 through till the ascension of Christ. Thanks so much for your prayers for these projects.

Thanks for your continued prayers for the Tribal believers. Continue to pray much for the church leaders, that they will stand strong in the Lord and faithfully teach and encourage and shepherd the saints.
