04/15/04 Tribal Update: A great time of fellowship
Hello Everyone:
We just got back from three great weeks of interaction with 15 (plus kids) dear Tribal brethren. Thanks so much for praying! We had a great time of discipleship together as we hung in the hammocks under the mango trees, feasted on alligator and iguana, drank coffee and banana juice, and continually opened the scriptures. And hey, the final check of the book of Acts went really well too! Our translation consultant gave us the green light for printing and so it will be hitting the printing press this next week-end! We were also able to check many scattered portions from the OT as well as 204 pages of teaching curriculum from Genesis. Yes, it was a very busy time and also a rich time as the Lord gave many great opportunities to share and interact and teach and grow. All who came left challenged anew and strengthened in Him. The most scary part of the whole visit for the Tribal was the plane rides!

Now we are scrambling to get all the last things done before heading north for home assignment on April 23. We look forward to seeing many of you. Thanks again so much for your prayers and encouragement and partnership. Will be exciting to share with you first hand what God is all doing among the Tribal people.
Pray Requests:
-for the provision of good vehicle that will nicely haul us around all over the States and Canada
-for continued growth for the Tribal leaders, and for development of more leaders
-for Hernan Delgado, as he continues to be the main pastor, and also shepherd even the other pastors
-for a good rest on furlough and for spiritual refreshment and growth
-for strength to keep cranking out OT Bible lessons even during our home assignment
Enjoying the adventure in Christ,
Merrill and Teresa
