03/20/04: Tribal Update: We're off!

Good Morning:

We are packed and heading out right now to meet with the Tribal pastors. After a lovely 8-hour trip, we should be there. The Tribal people, 15 adults and four kids, will arrive by plane. Here are some key prayers requests for our time together:

1. For the Spirit of God to have real liberty to move in our midst and accomplish His agenda.
2. For teachable hearts for all of us to take in what the Spirit has to teach us.
3. For real growth for these leaders in holiness and shepherding others.
4. For the final translation check on the book of Acts, and then for speed in making all the needed corrections, and diligence in quickly getting it formatted for printing.
5. For our protection. The country continues to be quite unstable.
6. For our two computers, that they will continue to function well for us while we are out in the sticks these three weeks. No computer stores out there for parts or whatever!
7. For real progress as we check 300 pages of Bible lessons from Genesis, and that as we teach it, the people will really learn how to teach this material to their own people.
8. For wisdom in getting good footage in order to come up with a good video presentation of the Tribal work for furlough.
